Sahra Wagenknecht: "It's time to end the panic mode" Abolition of the "epidemic situation of national concern"

Immediately after the courageously presented Joshua Kimmich defense by Oskar Lafontaine, Sahra Wagenknecht is now calling for an end to the corona measures. The repeal would be long overdue. And Wagenknecht renews Lafontaine's demand: vaccination should remain voluntary. There would be no justification for a legal state of emergency. Wagenknecht even considers the political discussion about an extension of unnecessary measures to be "dangerous". Here is her Facebook comment from Monday, October 25, 2021:
It's time to get out of panic mode. The lifting of the "epidemic of national proportions" is long overdue. Of course, the corona virus is still dangerous. But the risk groups in particular are now largely protected. Over 85 percent of those over 60 are double vaccinated. Anyone who wants to have access to the vaccine and can protect themselves. And anyone who decides otherwise based on personal risk assessment does so consciously. That too is part of a free society. No state has the right to blackmail him financially and exclude him from public life.
Denmark, where all measures were lifted at the beginning of September, shows that citizens are themselves able to behave responsibly. As was to be expected in the cooler season, the "incidences" are increasing again. But the numbers on hospital occupancy no longer justify a legal state of emergency. And if you want to relieve the hospitals, you should do something about staff shortages and poor working conditions.
If it is now being discussed, it is dangerous to leave the restrictions in place regardless of a “national epidemic situation”. Politics acts like a control junkie who does not want to give up the powers it has gained. While other European countries have returned to normal, 2G rules are being expanded in Germany and the rights of those who have not been vaccinated are further restricted. The time has come to end the state of alarm and allow citizens to return to normal lives.
