Americans Desperate For A New Political Party

Says Jimmy Dore who, best I can tell is activell driving his one +/- million subs is the MPP, operated by Nick Brana, whose public bio ought to be throwing up red flags, but not for Jimmy Dore:

"Nick was the National Political Outreach Coordinator with Bernie Sanders presidential campaign, where he lobbied the superdelegates and elected officials for Bernie, organized his political meetings, and planned convention activities. He went on to become a founding member of Our Revolution and its first Electoral Manager, where he created an endorsement plan and assembled the candidates.

Before that he was the Deputy Director of Voter Protection on Terry McAuliffe’s gubernatorial campaign and worked on then-Sen. John Kerry’s PAC. He earned his BA in sociology and environmental policy at William & Mary and lives in Virginia, outside of Washington D.C. When he isn’t building a people’s party, you can find Nick hiking with friends, reading sci-fi and envisioning the post-scarcity world of the future." 

The "People's" Party's call to arms is an exhortation to "...to build a major new political party free of corporate money and influence."

Now, if you take that slogan seriously, if you take Nina Turner and Cornel West seriously, you're an effin' putz cuz, as we speak, Nina Turner is running for Congress NOT as a member of the MPP but as a (Clinton)Democrat and blowhard Cornel West is stumping for this neoliberal imperialist Nina Turner just as he was for the known Reagan conservative and neoliberal Peace Prize candidate, Obama.

5% chance of AI apocalypse

  The median artificial-intelligence researcher believes there is a 5% chance that AI will cause human extinction.  The finding comes from  a survey of 2,700 AI scientists into the likely timescales and outcomes of AI development , the largest to date. The average researcher also thought it 50% likely that AI will achieve certain landmarks — such as writing songs indistinguishable from those by hit artists, or coding an entire payment-processing website from scratch — by 2028, and outperform humans at every possible task by 2047.
